Lessons from tomatoes!!

Hello famz, quite a while on this space. I'm so glad to be here again and I believe you're all so glad to be reading this too. I just want you to grab some popcorn, ice cream and relax calmly on your couch while you read this post. Happy reading.

I went to market yersterday being Friday to purchase some tomatoes and other things in the market for the weekend. On getting to the spot I'd wanted to buy the tomatoes,I sighted different varieties and different sizes of tomatoes to the point that I was confused on the one to actually go for cause I'd wanted to buy one paint rubber of tomatoes and so everything was looking so dicey and tricky. Eventually, when I couldn't get my mind to decide on the one to take,I have to ask the mallam selling them to pick the best one for me since he's the one in charge and he knows the best one. So I was like"oga, abeg help me pick the best tomatoes jawe cause all these your tomatoes are looking so strong, fresh and clean". After I'd said that, the mallam agreed to help me and so,he picked one which I also feel that it's okay,so he poured it out inside the polythene bag.

Not quite long after that,I noticed another young mallam in the shop with him, arranging another sets of tomatoes looking so so fresh and strong,I was so drawn to that particular set of tomatoes that I'd to ask the mallam that sold for me earlier"Oga,why you no carry this fresh tomatoes for me nao,see how it's looking so fresh and strong" but the mallam replied and said smiling" Aunty, don't be deceived by what you're seeing on the upper layer of those tomatoes ooo,you don't know the ones my brother put down,he just put those ones up to make it look attractive and marketable" and I was like"oga, how did you know that?" He replied again" It's my work na,that's what we're doing here na,we know what we're are doing" and I was like "ehehn". He said to me, don't worry the ones I packed for you are very okay, you won't regret buying them. After saying that,I collected the tomatoes and some other things I purchased from him and I left his shop.

On getting hope, then the statement that mallam made reoccurred to me again and I was ruminating over them. Rephrasing his  words he said" Don't be moved by what you see at the upper layer, what is below the plastic is not what you'll like". He also said" Haba,it's our work na,we know how we do these things".

Now to the lessons from the story:

1. Never judge anything or anyone by what you see physically or even spiritually.Someone once said"never judge a book by its cover".

2. In all that you do,allow God to always choose for you because He is the all-knowing God. When it comes to marriage,I understand that there are so many options you can choose from and everything seems dicey and all that, please allow God.

3. Be contented with whatever God has given you/has chosen for you. Never try to compare or contrast your spouse or whatever God has given you to anyone/anything else.

4. Never allow yourself to be intimated by anyone or anything. Be contended.

5.  Trust God to always give you the best.

Till,I come your way next time famz,

Enjoy the rest of your weekend.
